On February 23, 2024, Asia Out Loud celebrated Tết the best way we know how: with a SOLD OUT night of international stand-up comedy at CTY Kitchen + Bar, 72 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai in District 3. This was the very first Laugh Your Tets Off.
Taiwan-based headliner Jamie Wang topped a lineup with Indonesian comic Annie Yang, Canadian-Vietnamese comic Joe Vũ, and Saigon’s own V.M.T., who opened the show. Emcee JK Hobson hosted.
It started a tradition. Read about Laugh Your Tets Off 2 with Graham Elwood, and follow Asia Out Loud for the next one.
